I'm trying to contact a long lost cousin, Albert MacMillan, who left Bangor in about 1959. He was last living in Australia after a spell working in Christmas Island. He's about 70 and has a sister Yvonne. Any info. would be much appreciated.

just back from a sort of pilgramage to Bangor. My mother was born there in 1929 in number 7 Arras Place. She died 17 years ago on the 17th November. My father and I decided to go over and have a look around and visit relatives still there. Lovely place ... can't quite imagine anyone wanting to leave Bangor to live in Paisley...although I guess the employment situation was probably the reason as the family made the move around 1941 - 1942. My mothers name was Helen Victoria White ... in case anyone remembers her.
