Very attentive, friendly staff and great sized portions. The restaurant was very busy but had a great atmosphere and we were well looked after. Normally avoid restaurants in Bangor in favour of belfast but would definitely return to te ava and recomend it to all. Papa Joes New Orleans Restaurant Reviewed by: Mara'garetReviewed on: 5/6/2008 8:41:00 AM Hello fellow food critics and pursuers. I have just newly visited said restaurant and have to say, one is very pleased with the fine establishment! To inaugurate let me begin with the description of the pabulum which on my delicate palette these word would best fit the taste experienced… divine, ambrosial, delectable, enchanting even paradisiacal! Yes it’s that good, simply marvellous! Caps off to the menu also, it is large, wonderfully descriptive and quite the stylish sheet of plastic might I add. The staff might also be the finest I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing and I can attestify that my partner was very pleased by them also. Overall I would say that Papa Joes is the place to be, without a doubt the finest eatery one’s been in, in one’s while! P.S The Chefs are the most delicious attendants! A more dreamy example of the male gallantry I have not seen. Be back for just the eye enrichment alone! hehe Papa Joes New Orleans Restaurant Reviewed by: williamReviewed on: 5/1/2008 12:00:00 PM debbie your class. nice review. lol The Ava Reviewed by: cocoReviewed on: 4/28/2008 5:24:00 PM Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely atmosphere and excellent value for money. Bangor's best!! Woodlands Cafe Reviewed by: awboireReviewed on: 4/22/2008 11:02:00 AM Went to the cafe on sunday 13/04/08 on the recommendation of a friend who is a frequent visitor to the Crawfordsburn Country Park. I was astounded to find that at 10.45am the cafe was bunged to the hilt,I found two empty seats at a table being occupied by another couple, sharing tables seems to be the done thing in this very busy cafe, I had the Country grill which was reccomended (with free coffee or tea before 11.45) my partner had the Woodlands Special and I must say well worth the visit even as busy as it was the service was well above average and provided by a very pleasant staff. After a most enjoyable breakfast we decided to spend time in the park and returned later for afternoon tea and scones only to find it was just as busy.(4 hours later)Woodlands Cafe is a definite asset to Crawfordsburn.
